Missing Indy toddler returned home safe

INDIANAPOLIS — Police say a toddler missing since Sunday has been returned home and is safe.

Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department Missing Person detectives reported the 19-month-old missing Tuesday morning.

Police say the toddler's grandmother took him Sunday around and did not return him back to his mother.

A Silver Alert was issued Tuesday morning and the child was returned home safely, according to Indianapolis police.

No other details were released.
