Silver Alert for missing 72-year-old man out of Dyer, Indiana canceled

DYER, Ind. -- A statewide Silver Alert was issued Friday evening for a 72-year-old Dyer, Indiana, man has been canceled.

James Strouzas was last seen around 10 a.m. Friday in Dyer and is believed to be in extreme danger and may require medical assistance.

The Dyer Police Department issued a notice Saturday at 2:45 p.m. that the Silver Alert had been canceled and he was found alive. They were not available to elaborate on any further details. 

Police said Strouzas was driving a light green 2006 Chevy Malibu.
