INDIANAPOLIS — Metropolitan police said six people are under arrest in an investigation related to gun violence, illegal gun possession and drug trafficking.
According to a report from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, officers from the Crime Gun Intelligence Center searched a home on South Meridian Street on the south side in late February. Police said they found a half-pound of marijuana, packaging, scales and hydrocodone pills. Officers also seized six guns.
Police said the main target of the investigation, a 23-year-old man, and five other people were arrested on a range of charges including dealing marijuana, possession of marijuana, possession of a narcotic drug and maintaining a common nuisance.
