INDIANAPOLIS — An arrest has been made on Saturday after a man was fatally stabbed on Indy's southside.
Friday night, Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers responded to the 200 block of Stephanie Lane, near Garfield Park, on reports of a person stabbed.
Upon arrival, they located 62-year-old Timothy Adkins with injuries consistent with trauma. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Saturday morning, IMPD announced the arrest of a 40-year-old man for his alleged role. The suspect is being charged with murder.
