IUPUI police were investigating Friday after a female student reported she was groped in a stairwell of the school’s education building.
The incident reportedly happened sometime around 9 a.m. in a stairwell in a building at IUPUI’s downtown campus.
According to a report filed by IUPUI police, the 21-year-old woman told police she was fondled by an unknown male.
The victim was able to provide a detailed description of the alleged assailant to police.
The alleged attacker was described as a black male, approximately 20 years old, with short dreadlocks that had blonde tips. He had tattoos of stars on his collarbone and was wearing a red, graphic t-shirt. She described him as being approximately 5’7” – 5’8” tall with a light complexion.
