CARMEL, Ind. -- A 15-year-old girl was bound and robbed during a daytime home invasion in Carmel on Thursday.

Carmel police were called to a home on Woodbury Drive in the Kingswood Subdivision around 4 p.m.

The victim told police that her mother was outside doing yard work when two armed men came in through the back patio door and tied her up with a belt.

Police say the thieves took cash, jewelry, and the teen's cell phone and were out of the home in a matter of minutes.

No one was injured.

Carmel police believe the incident was random and do not have any suspects at this time, but neighbors say they saw the suspects walking through backyards in the neighborhood before the attack.

The crime remains under investigation anyone with information on who the suspects might be or who has surveillance video in the area should contact the Carmel Police Department at 317-571-2555.
