LAWRENCE — A 17-year-old boy has died following a shooting early Wednesday at a Lawrence apartment complex.
According to information from the Lawrence Police Department, officers responded before 12:30 a.m. to The Reserve at Franklin Glenn Apartments near North Franklin Road and Pendleton Pike on a report of a person shot.
Police found Keshawn Neely suffering from a gunshot wound when they arrived. He was transported to an area hospital in critical condition, but later died.
The shooting remains under investigation.
