INDIANAPOLIS — A teenage boy is dead following a shooting Wednesday on the south side of Indianapolis.
Officers were dispatched to the 300 block of W. Edwards St. just before 11 p.m. on a report of a person who had been shot, according to information from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.
Police said they found a 17-year-old boy who had been shot at least once following an argument. He died at the scene.
It is the second fatal shooting of the night. Earlier, a person was shot and killed on the northwest side, and two others were injured in separate shootings.
