INDIANAPOLIS — Police are asking for the public's help to recover dozens of supplies stolen from a trailer belonging to a local Boy Scout troop.
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department's Southwest District posted about the theft on social media. It was reported on October 28 at the Chapel Hill United Methodist Church on North Girls School Road.
Police say someone broke into a trailer that was parked on the church's property. The trailer belonged to Boy Scout Troop 494 and contained multiple camping items. Thieves stole a firebox, a crate of food, a basket of work gloves, a propane tank and nine tents from the trailer.
