MARION — Two people are under arrest for the weekend murder of a 65-year-old Marion woman and the wounding of her grandson.
Cheryl Mann was shot to death at her Marion home late Saturday.
Marion Police say her grandson, 30-year-old Jonathon Lovell, was shot and wounded.
A few hours after the incident, 32-year-old Christa Lea Kelly and William McCarty, also 32, were arrested after police were tipped off about their whereabouts.
Marion Police say the shooting appears to have stemmed from an argument involving Lovell and the two suspects.
Kelly and McCarty face a number of charges, including murder.
Lovell is in stable condition.
A 13-year-old boy who was sleeping in the home at the time of the shooting was not hurt, according to police.
