FISHERS — Two people are dead in what police believe was a murder-suicide in Fishers early Wednesday morning.
Fishers police were called to the 12600 block of Ladson Street near 126th Street and Cumberland Avenue around 1 a.m.
Arriving officers found a 20-year-old man and a 73-year-old woman suffering from injuries that were believed to be from a firearm, according to Sgt. Tom Weger with the Fishers police Department. Both were pronounced dead at the scene.
At this time, their deaths are being investigated as a murder-suicide. The exact details of that investigation are not available at this time, but police say there is not believed to be any threat to the community.
