INDIANAPOLIS — Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis notified students Monday that campus police received two allegations of non-consensual sexual touching.
In a notice sent to students, the IU Police Department at IUPUI received two reports of fondling at 5:20 p.m. Monday, with one of the cases involving an aggravated assault.
"Both victims reported the suspect engaging in nonconsensual sexual touching with them," the notice said. "One victim reported the suspect also grabbed their throat causing pain."
One of the incidents occurred Sept. 3 or 4 during the early evening hours, while the other happened between 5 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Saturday, according to the notice. Both incidents occurred in the University Tower.
The IU Police Department at IUPUI knows the suspect's identity and the investigation is ongoing.
