INDIANAPOLIS — Two men were shot at a McDonald's restaurant on the north side of Indianapolis on Wednesday afternoon.

According to a report from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, officers were called to the McDonald's at 37 W. 38th St., around 4:20 p.m. Wednesday on report of a person shot.

Police said one man was found at the restaurant. A second victim was found at 38th Street and Fall Creek Parkway North Drive. Officers said the man who was found away from the restaurant drove himself to that location where he made contact with a patrol police officer who then administered first aid and called for medics.

Police said both victims were taken to an area hospital for treatment and both are stable.
