INDIANAPOLIS — Two people are in serious condition after they were stabbed during an attempted robbery at an apartment complex on Indianapolis' east side.
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers responded to the Spanish Oaks Apartments around 1 a.m. for a report of a stabbing.
The victims told police that they were getting out of their vehicle when a man approached them and forced them inside a downstairs apartment. After a brief struggle, the victims were stabbed and the suspect fled the scene.
Both victims were taken to Eskenazi Hospital in serious condition.
No arrests have been made.
