INDIANAPOLIS — Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers responded to three different incidents across the city in less than an hour on Friday morning.
IMPD responded to the first scene on Indianapolis' east side around 6:30 a.m. on reports of a person shot. When officers arrived, they located an adult male inside of the McDonald's at 3800 N. Keystone Ave.
The shooting victim's condition was listed as awake and breathing, according to IMPD Public Information Officer, Genae Cook.

About 30 minutes later, IMPD officers were called to the north and west of Indianapolis for unrelated stabbing incidents.
The first stabbing occurred at 742 Lake Nora Ct., on the city's north side. IMPD officers did find a stabbing victim with undisclosed trauma to the body.
The stabbing victim was transported to the hospital in critical condition, according to Cook.
Metro police also responded to another stabbing on Indy's west side. Officers located a female victim with undisclosed trauma due to stabbing wounds at 5610 W. 38th St.
According to police on the scene, this is believed to be a domestic violence incident.
