Two suspects arrested in downtown Indianapolis armed robbery

INDIANAPOLIS — The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department announced Friday the arrest of two people suspected in an armed robbery that happened downtown on May 31st.

Alijah Jones and Marcus Anderson, both 23, face robbery charges, according to Marion County Criminal Court records.

The robbery happened at 300 North Delaware Street. IMPD is also asking for help in identifying others who may have been involved in this crime.

Photos released by the police department show a female wearing a multi-colored jacket, and a male wearing a black long sleeve shirt with the "Champion" logo on it.

Additionally, investigators are seeking information about what they believe to be a related, but unreported, armed robbery committed by this group. The incident occurred in the 100 block of East Michigan Street.
