INDIANAPOLIS — Two teens have been arrested in connection with a delivery driver robbery spree across Indianapolis.

Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department detectives say a Donato's Pizza Delivery driver was robbed just after 11 p.m. on March 3 and two suspects were seen running from the property. Those two suspects were later identified as two 17-year-old males.

During the search for the suspects, officers used a stun gun on one of the teens and he was apprehended by a K9 officer. Police say a handgun fell from that teen's waistband while he was running from police.

Police say they found the second teen suspect a short time later, hiding in a tree.

The two teens were connected to four additional robberies, including:

  • December 17, 2018: Pizza Hut
  • January 19, 2019: China Kitchen
  • February 22, 2019: Jack's Pizza
  • March 3, 2019: Marcos Pizza

One of the teens was also charged with a February 3, 2019, robbery of a Pizza Hut driver. That teen also faces additional charges for carrying a handgun without a license and possession of marijuana.

Police say additional charges are still pending.
