INDIANAPOLIS — A man accused in several violent robberies at Indianapolis businesses is now behind bars.

Back in November, Indianapolis Police Department detectives said they began investigating several business robberies throughout the city that had similar characteristics.

Davis is facing multiple charges including robbery, strangulation, battery and corrupt business influence.

According to the probable cause affidavit filed against Davis, during several of the robberies listed below, he strangled, beat and shoved workers at the businesses he was robbing.

During one robbery attempt, court documents say Davis strangled a woman until she was nearly passed out and then sprayed pepper spray in her face. During another robbery, he's accused of beating a man over the head with a black pipe.
