INDIANAPOLIS — The family of Dreasjon Reed, the 21-year-old man who was shot and killed by an IMPD officer last week, are holding a press conference with their lawyer.

Reed led police on a pursuit after he was spotted by an officer driving erratically, according to IMPD. When Reed exited the vehicle he was driving, police say he fired a weapon at officers. One of those officers returned fire and struck Reed, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
