INDIANAPOLIS — A 22-year-old woman has been arrested in connection with a shooting early Sunday that left an Indianapolis man critically wounded.

According to a report from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, officers were called to the 7000 block of Graham Avenue shortly after 2 a.m. Sunday on report of a person shot. Officers arrived and found a man with gunshot wounds.

The victim, Jesus Medrano, 23, was taken to an area hospital in "extreme critical condition," police said. Medrano died on Feb. 24, IMPD said.

Marion County prosecutors charged Imane Renai McRae, 22, with attempted murder and voluntary manslaughter in Medrano's death. Her jury trail was scheduled for Oct. 4.
