AVON, Ind. — Icy conditions are likely to blame for a multi-vehicle pileup that closed an Avon bridge Monday evening.
Avon Police say conditions on the Ronald Reagan Parkway bridge were deteriorating around 5 p.m. when an eight-vehicle accident occurred.
Police have not said if anyone was injured in the accident, but the bridge was closed while crews cleaned up the crash and treated the road.
