MUNCIE, Ind. -- Graycin Ryan may only be 6 years old but he knows what he wants to be when he grows up: a police officer.
On Friday, Graycin was sworn in as an honorary Muncie police officer for his support of the force.
"Graycin is 6 years old and is an incredible young man," the Muncie Police Department posted on their Facebook page. "He and his family brought MPD officers treat bags."
Graycin was able to meet several officers during his "swearing in" at City Hall, toured the police department and attended roll call.
He was then paired off with Officer Winkle who helped him take notes during roll call before taking a ride and performing a mock traffic stop.
Graycin wrote the driver a ticket!
According to the city of Muncie, Graycin has been an avid law enforcement supporter since he was 3 years old. He and his mom, Jammie Ryan, have partnered with seven departments in Indiana to bring them gifts and goodie bags.
Graycin and his mother also operate his "Gray's Police Appreciation Adventures" Facebook page and work to support the fight against blood cancer through DKMS. (One of his young friends is battling the disease.)
