BOONE COUNTY, Ind. -- A dog died in a house fire near Elizaville in Boone County Wednesday.
The fire happened around 10:30 a.m. and destroyed the home located in the 4200 block of North County Road 500 East, just south of Elizaville.
Investigators say a neighbor noticed the fire. No one was home at the time.
Both Lebanon and Zionsville firefighters responded.
