INDIANAPOLIS -- Maybelline, the dog who survived being thrown off an I-65 overpass, is now on the road to recovery and a forever family.
This week, donations paid for a specialized surgery for her leg that was broken in the fall.
The Humane Society of Indianapolis says everything went according to plan, and Maybelline is now resting comfortably.
The Humane Society said it will likely be a few more weeks for her recovery. Then she'll be available for adoption.
