INDIANAPOLIS — The "Original Farmers' Market" usually held at Monument Circle downtown Indianapolis has been canceled this week, city market officials announced.
In an announcement released Monday, City Market officials said "at the recommendation of public safety officials" that Wednesday's farmers market be canceled due to "the uncertainty of continued planned and unplanned protests, demonstrations, and rallies on or near the Circle."
City Market officials plan to resume the Original Farmers’ Market on Wednesday, June 10.
