Downtown Indy preps for Big Ten game

INDIANAPOLIS -- This weekend the Circle City is playing host to the biggest college football matchup of the week as the Iowa Hawkeyes take on the Michigan State Spartans in the Big Ten Football Championship. 

ESPN College Gameday will be setting up for the game at Pan AmPlaza. The show is scheduled to go live starting at 9:00 a.m. 

There are also a number of other activities for fans surrounding the big game going on downtown. The Big Ten Fan Fest will feature marching band performances, interactive exhibits and opportunities to take photos with Big Ten football legends.

The fest will be held at the convention center and kicks off Friday at 3:00 p.m. and will run until 9:00 p.m. It will be held again Saturday at 10:00 a.m. 

Entry to the event is free with a ticket to the game or $8 for adults and $4 for kids.
