INDIANAPOLIS – They have known the changes were coming for a while. Now, IndyGo bus riders will have to start getting used to their new routes.
The new Downtown Transit Center officially opened Sunday morning, and that means all of IndyGo’s downtown routes are changing. The re-routing will make the transit system more efficient, IndyGo has said, but if riders are confused initially, IndyGo employees will do what they can to help get you where you need to go.
To celebrate the grand opening of the transit center, IndyGo will offer free bus rides today through Monday July 4.
