DPW sends crews out to repair city streets

INDIANAPOLIS — The Indianapolis Department of Public Works dispatched 16 crews Monday to repair streets across the city.

According to a release from DPW, crews filled and strip-patched pavement, and the department has strip-patched more than 59 lanes of roadway in Marion County this year.

Areas that received pothole patching included:

  • 49th Street from Central Avenue to Park Avenue
  • Tibbs Avenue from Steeples Boulevard to Centennial Street
  • Rochester Avenue from 10th Street to 15th Street
  • Washington Street from Illinois Street to Belmont Avenue
  • 79th Street from Meridian Street to Charlecot Drive
  • 46th Street from Meridian Street to Moller Road
  • Forest Manor Avenue from Washington Street to Centennial Street
  • Bosart Avenue from 16th Street to 23rd Street
  • Emerson Avenue from Washington Street to Prospect Street
  • Edgewood Drive from Harding Street to Belmont Avenue
  • Capital Avenue from 14th Street to 49th Street

Areas that received strip-patching included:

  • Milhouse Road from Decatur Boulevard to the end of the street
  • Stop 11 Road from Sherman Drive to U.S. 31
  • Boulevard Place from 38th Street to 52nd Street
