INDIANAPOLIS -- A litter of puppies rescued by an IMPD officer after being left for dead in a dumpster are quickly becoming stars.
The seven puppies, affectionately nicknamed the “dumpster pups,” teamed up with some big shots this week to promote the upcoming NFL combine in Indianapolis.
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department shared photos of the pups hanging out with Pat McAfee and comedian Mike Epps on the football field.
The NFL combine will be held in Indianapolis in late February.
By the way, all but three of the puppies have been spoken for.
