INDIANAPOLIS -- An effort to bring the fair train back in time for this year's Indiana State Fair has failed.

Court documents show a federal judge has denied the Indiana Transportation Museum's filing of a restraining order which would have allowed the fair train to run.

It's part of an ongoing feud between the Indiana Transportation Museum and Hamilton County's Port Authority that owns the tracks.

The county banned the museum from the tracks last year citing safety concerns.
