ALEXANDRIA, Ind. -- Santa is pretty busy these days preparing for Christmas, but he took time out to pay a special visit to one Indiana family.
Country singer, Joey Feek, is in hospice care, battling terminal cancer.
Rory Feek posted on his blog that Santa and Mrs. Claus stopped by their home in Alexandria last Friday.
Friends had said they were sending goodies to the Feeks. The surprise was that they were delivered by Santa himself.
The blog post describes Santa this way:
He has the real beard, the real belly, and on top of that he had the kindest smile and a heart for special babies and mama's with no hair... I loved him from the moment I met him.
Rory says little Indiana wasn't sure what to make of Santa at first but she warmed up to him.
