INDIANAPOLIS — A motorcyclist died Tuesday morning in a crash on the southeast side of Indianapolis.
The motorcyclist was heading eastbound on East Raymond Street around 6:30 a.m. when the driver of a Chrysler vehicle turned westbound off North Oxford Street and a collision occurred, Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department public information officer Samone Burris said.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. The person's identity has not been released.
Burris said the driver of the Chrysler is cooperating with the investigation and was taken for a routine blood draw.
East Raymond Street will be closed at South Oxford Street until late morning due to the crash.
