INDIANAPOLIS -- Tamika Catchings scored 16 of her 25 points in the second half to rally the Indiana Fever to a 70-64 win over the New York Liberty in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference finals on Sunday.
The Fever trailed by 15 in the second half until the 36-year-old Catchings took over to tie the best-of-three series at 1-1.
Indiana tied it 55-55 with 5:50 left in the game, and Marissa Coleman gave the Fever their first lead at 60-59 on a 3-pointer with 2:46 remaining.
New York's Tina Charles led all scorers with 25 points and had 10 rebounds. Epiphany Prince added 12 points for the Liberty, who led 44-29 at halftime.
The decisive Game 3 will be played Tuesday night in New York.
