Find seasonal work at 2016 Indiana State Fair

INDIANAPOLIS -- Anybody looking for seasonal work this summer has an opportunity Wednesday afternoon at the Indiana State Fairgrounds.

The Indiana State Fair is looking to fill more than 600 seasonal positions for the fair this August.

The job fair will take place from 3-6 p.m. at the Farm Bureau Building.

All applicants must be aged 14 and up. 

The line will start forming at 2 p.m., and everybody in line by 6 p.m. will be able to participate.

The available positions are:

  • ticket sellers
  • gate supervisors
  • security personnel
  • parking attendants
  • parking supervisors
  • facility operations staff
  • tractor shuttle staff
  • information booth staff
  • livestock staff
  • educational exhibit staff

Fair officials say the seasonal jobs could lead to year-round part time or full time jobs.

People planning on attending do not need to bring a resume, but it will be accepted.
