INDIANAPOLIS – A fire broke out at a restaurant in the Meridian-Kessler neighborhood Thursday morning that caused those inside the building to evacuate.
Indianapolis firefighters said a grease fire started in the kitchen of Twenty Tap on North College Avenue around 11:30 a.m. and the entire building was shut down.
Firefighters said no injuries were reported and the fire was put out shortly after it began.
It is not clear exactly how the fire happened or when the restaurant will reopen.
