INDIANAPOLIS -- One firefighter suffered minor injuries in a south side house fire.
The fire started early this morning at a home on Whirlaway Drive. The family who lived there was on vacation and not home at the time, but firefighters say three cats inside were killed. A fourth cat survived the fire.
The roof of the house caved in while crews were battling the fire, but it is not known whether that was when the firefighter was hurt.
