INDIANAPOLIS – An Indianapolis man was arrested on a murder warrant in Florida Thursday after a woman’s body was found on the side of the road on Indy’s east side in June.

Joshua Harris, 41, who was living in a homeless camp behind Walmart, was arrested by US Marshalls and local police in Ocala, Florida.

On June 24, IMPD officers were called to the 10900 block of East Troy Avenue on the report of a body found.

Police found the body of 38-year-old Jeannie Howard on the side of the road and couldn’t immediately determine if the injuries she sustained caused her death.

On Sept. 2 Howard’s death was ruled a homicide and detectives put out a warrant for Harris Sept. 8
