A former Frankfort, Ind. teacher who pleaded guilty to two charges of child seduction will learn his sentence Thursday.
Thomas Weeks, 47, was arrested in May 2014 after police accused him of misconduct with a female student at Frankfort High School.
Weeks was also the head coach of the boys' varsity basketball team.
"Cooperation between the Community School of Frankfort and our detectives, as well as information gathered during the investigation, led to Weeks' arrest," Police Chief Troy Bacon said at the time of his arrest.
Weeks was accused of having a relationship with a 17-year-old student.
He will have to surrender his teaching license and register as a sex offender.
His trial was set to begin Thursday, facing six charges of child seduction before signing the plea agreement on July 28.
