INDIANAPOLIS -- A former Indiana corrections officer was arrested Monday on allegations of sleeping with an inmate.
Lamont Williams, 55, of Indianapolis, was preliminarily charged with two counts of sexual misconduct and one count of official misconduct.
State police said the arrest stemmed from an investigation beginning July 2015 at the Indiana Women's Prison. An inmate reportedly contacted prison officials with allegations involving Williams, a former guard at the prison.
The female inmate reportedly gave details of two separate accounts of sexual contact with Williams – one in October 2014 and one in January 2015.
Williams was being held on a $15,000 bond at the Marion County Adult Processing Center.
