Three people accused of holding two victims hostage in robbery on near-east side in custody

INDIANAPOLIS -- Indianapolis police said Tuesday that three of four suspects wanted in connection with a robbery and criminal confinement case are in custody.

Police were called to the 1700 block of East Pleasant Run Parkway just after 6 p.m. on August 1, where they found two victims who reported being held against their will for several hours.

One of the victims told police they have been forced to drive their captors to a nearby bank to withdraw money.

The four suspects later fled, and the victims were released.

Police arrested 28-year-old Michael Bennett on Monday night, 38-year-old Katrina Grider turned herself in on Tuesday, and 26-year-old Meg Thompson turned herself in on August 11.

25-year-old Albert Wilson is still wanted by law enforcement.

The group faces a slew of felony charges among them, including robbery, criminal confinement, kidnapping and battery.
