GREENSBURG, Ind. -- A 5-year-old boy and a 35-year-old woman were killed in a crash that called for three medical helicopters Friday night.

The crash happened around 10 p.m. Friday near North Decatur High School on County Road 300 North, just outside of Greensburg.

Police say a 2007 Jeep Wrangler traveling westbound on CR 300 N. struck the trailer tires of a U-Haul trailer being pulled by a 2004 Trailblazer traveling eastbound. The driver of the Wrangler lost control and skidded into the path of a white 2005 Toyota pickup truck, which was behind the Trailblazer also traveling eastbound, leading to a crash.

A passenger in the Toyota pickup truck, 35-year-old Shelina Robinson, was pronounced dead at the scene of the wreck.

Five people, including four children, were inside the Wrangler at the time of the crash. A 5-year-old, Matthew Hahn, Jr., was extricated from the vehicle and transported to Riley Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The driver of the Wrangler, Matthew Hahn, 25, of Greensburg, was taken to Methodist Hospital. Also inside the Wrangler was 16-year-old James Supler, of Greensburg, who was transported to Decatur County Hospital, 9-year-old Logan Debiase, of Greensburg, and 3-year-old Mataya Hahn, of Greensburg, were both transported to Riley Hospital. The extent of their injuries or conditions as of Sunday morning were not made available.

The driver of the Toyota, Terry Robinson, 47, of Columbus, Indiana, was transported to Decatur County Hospital. Terry Robinson's condition was also not available.

The driver of the Trailblazer was not hurt.

Investigators with Indiana State Police believe none of the passengers in the Wrangler or the Toyota were wearing seat belts.

Drugs or alcohol are not thought to be a factor in the crash. The investigation will remain open.
