NEW CASTLE, Ind. – A four-month investigation led a New Castle man to be arrested for child molestation Friday evening.

Pendleton District Detective Andy Byers began the investigation in May after an adult female victim said 46-year-old Rodney Boyd began having inappropriate contact with her when she was a child.

The victim said the behavior continued until she was an adult.

After the investigation was complete, the case was turned over to Henry County Prosecutor Joe Bergacs.

After his review, a five count felony was warrant charging Boyd with Child Molestation, Sexual Misconduct with a Minor and Child Seduction.

Boyd is lodged in the Henry County Jail without bond.
