INDIANAPOLIS – A much anticipated park opened in Franklin Township Monday.
Wolf Run Park, located near East Thompson Road, features a playground, basketball courts, paved walking trails and picnic shelters.
Indy Parks officials said the land will also provide a habitat for wildlife such as blue herons, woodpeckers and box turtles.
Wolf Run Park is Franklin Township’s third park.
