The outpouring of support for Koontz has been so great, stores like Lowe's said they were struggling to keep blue lights in stock.

"[We've sold] a couple hundred, and we've pulled those from neighboring stores," said assistant store manager Jeff Stevens. "Our store in Carmel has been gracious enough to send everything they have, and we've been looking at other stores in the state of Indiana now just to bring product in."

Visitation for Dep. Koontz will be held Monday from 1-7 p.m. at Northwestern High School. Funeral arrangements are set for Tuesday at 11 a.m., also at the high school.

Burial will follow at Albright Cemetery in Kokomo.
