INDIANAPOLIS — As tax season approaches, there is free help available to help you complete your tax return.

Indianapolis Mayor Joe Hogsett, the United Way of Central Indiana, and the IRS kicked off the opening of tax preparation sites at an Indianapolis Public Library Branch on the city's east side.

Families and individuals with a combined household income of $66,000 or less are eligible to get free tax help.

To learn more about the free tax help or how you can volunteer to help families, you can visit the United Way's website.
