INDIANAPOLIS — A second person has died following a crash last Friday on the Indianapolis northwest side.

A vehicle went out of control, jumped the curb and went into a pond on West 86th Street, across from Brebeuf High School, late in the evening.

When firefighters arrived, the vehicle was submerged with a man and woman trapped inside. Rescue teams worked quickly to get both people out and rush them to nearby St. Vincent Hospital.

22-year-old Gustavo Eusebio-Navor died a short time after arriving at the hospital. Now, the Marion County coroner says 24-year-old Javiera Viveros has also died.

Weather appeared to be a factor in the crash. According to Major Harold Turner of the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, the road was becoming slick at the time it happened.
