INDIANAPOLIS — Funeral arrangements are set for the brother and sister gunned down Friday morning in their northeast side apartment.
A joint service will be held for 16-year-old Nicholas Nelson and his 15-year-old sister Ashlynn Nelson on Saturday, Sept. 7 at 1 p.m. at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. and will go until the services start.
There will be a private burial for immediate friends and family members at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Antonia Bailey, the mother of Nicholas and Ashlynn, asks that every member of the Indianapolis community reflects upon the double homicide and does more to make a positive difference in the lives of our youth.
