INDIANAPOLIS — Gas prices in Indiana are declining again after a random hike last week.
As of Monday morning, the national average was $2.74 per gallon, but in Indiana gas could be found for as low as $2.37 around Fort Wayne.
Last week, gas prices were as high as $2.99 in some areas of Indiana.
If you believe the latest report from AAA, we've already seen the highest gas prices of 2019 and we should see them fall even lower before the summer ends.
In Indianapolis, the lowest gas prices reported by GasBuddy were around $2.41 per gallon and those numbers seemed to be going down across the board.
Those prices are trending down, but are already averaging around 19 cents less than last year.
AAA also lists daily gas prices on its website.
