MUNCIE, Ind. -- Quick action by a convenience store clerk helped stop a robbery.
The man used a cup of coffee as his weapon.
Remnants of a coffee flung across the room remain on paperwork near the front register, though most of it ended on the face of a would-be-robber.
Sunday morning, the clerk, with a steaming hot brew filled to the brim, noticed a man walking in with what looked like a gun in his hand.
Surveillance video caught the rest.
With the next few seconds turned over to instinct, the clerk reacted by throwing the coffee toward the gunman, a direct hit at him.
The clerk immediately ran toward a back room.
The man's cousin and fellow co-worker said he had to fight back.
"Because we work hard for the money. We work like every day, 12 hours a day, 7 days a week, like every day. We don't take any day off. Like 365 days a year. That's why," Prince Singh said.
