INDIANAPOLIS -- To get Indianapolis residents into the holiday spirit, a street in downtown Indianapolis is being turned into a Winter Wonderland this weekend.
The Christmas trees are already up and more decorations are planned.
Georgia Street is being transformed for the "City Sidewalks Event," beginning Friday night.
The St. John's Christmas Festival is also happening, as well as a live nativity scene with animals, an alpine slide for kids and adults, kids' activities and selfies with Santa.
There will also be a chance to pick up some last-minute Christmas gifts. The event runs from 5-9 Friday evening.
